The setting are saved but if you are on manual you will have to
hit the tune button to get it to retune to the correct saved
setting.? The memory tune is almost instantaneous when you start
transmitting vs a full tune which takes a couple of seconds.
If it was trying to retune constantly on SSB you need to look for
RF in the shack.? Once it has a tune it should be rock steady.

Hey Ken,?
I had to take it off full
automatic tune mode because?when on SSB it was trying to
autotune while transmitting and my audio was interrupted by
the relay chattering to tune the radio.
I was under the impression that settings were
saved and that retuning wasn't necessary.
Was I wrong?

Is
this new behavior?? I mean, your antenna needs to be
¡°re-matched¡± to your radio when you change bands, or
make large frequency changes in the same band.? Is
your tuner in full auto mode?? Sounds to me like
it¡¯s operating as it should.? Perhaps I¡¯m missing
something.
I noticed this weekend when I was
changing bands or frequencies on a band that my SWR
would go up, even though the day before (or earlier
on the same day), I had tuned my rig/antenna.

I use the LDG AT-100ProII

When using SSB,?I wind up setting
fldigi to AM to get a carrier and hit the tune
button.

What I don't understand is why I
seem to have to do this with every band switch (or
move up/down the band).
