Morgan Consulting Resources, Inc.?has been retained to lead the search for a Senior Network Strategy Director?for UNITE HERE HEALTH, a Taft-Hartley Trust Fund serving more than 200,000 workers and their families in the hospitality and gaming industries nationwide. The Senior Network Strategy Director will lead managed care contracting and vendor administration for the Aurora, Illinois-based plan units, while working closely with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.

Key details:

• Location: Preference for candidates in Chicago
• Scope: Hands-on leadership of contracting with vendors such as BCBS, Tufts, and Kaiser, focusing on vendor strategy and network optimization
• Background:
• 10+ years?in managed care contracting, network strategy, or vendor management
• Experience from the payer, employer, or purchaser side rather than provider network contracting
• Familiarity with employer coalitions, Taft-Hartley Trusts, or mission-driven healthcare preferred
• Ideal Candidate: This position requires more than expertise in contracting. Someone who enjoys reviewing and translating data, looking for opportunities in different markets to implement innovative programs for the benefit of the participants and the Fund. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work with multiple stakeholders internally as well as externally.? Knowledge of key markets – Chicago, Boston, New York, New Jersey – is a plus
• Travel: 15 to 25% based on business needs
• Compensation: $153,600 to $195,900 base salary plus excellent benefits, including a pension plan
