Gents, I have just finished reading "Handbrake", a book by Mariano Sciaroni & Alejandro Amendolara (Helion & Company) on Super Etendard operations during the 1982 Falklands War. It's very good. I highly recommand it to anyone that has an interest on the conflict. Best regards to all, Francis

Gents, it's important to remind you of issues with Google Earth. The application has many good points (it's free, easy to use, ...) but is not a true GIS software. Please keep in mind that there might be an issue with the ruler : the measure of distances is sometimes wrong. I found no big problem in the Harpoon game 'Mirmillon', but there are definitively in the Seekrieg / Long Lance* one. The measured distances are on average 18% longer than they are actually. It may have consequences in your assesment of the situation. I am sorry if you already had issues due to a bad estimation of distances. I try to fix the problem and hope you will have actual distances on your next report. Anyway, I fail to undertsand what happens for the moment. It looks like that the problem happens when the distances are short and the location is far from the equator. If you know what to do, do not hesitate to help me. All the best, Francis

Gents, I am once again late, sorry. The reports for Attu (GT18) are almost ready, but there is a technical issue with the site that generates the kml. I am looking for a solution.
