Gents, I have run the turn and sent the reports. Once again, there are issues. Please understand that people that do not follow the instructions create big problems for me since I hade to manually check and correct their file. So please : - Do not rename or change the format of the file, because it breaks the links between your document and mine. - Do not erase formulas. All of them matter, and you probably don't see why / how. If a formula is missing, your document won't work: it will no longer compute coordinates or allow your ship to turn or accelerate. There are serious issues. - I have a serious technical problem with my game aid. For unknown reasons, updating the links between this document and your orders requires 2 hours (it was only a few minutes before). Gents, I have run the game turns 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the "Savo" scenario. It was necessary to run four turns at once to speed up the game. I had to modify some of the orders for some reasons. Gents, I have found time working on Savo and had issues because some of you did not use their spreadsheet properly. It is not surprising, and it's not a problem because it's the first turn and some of you still need to learn how the system works. I invite you to re-read and apply the instructions (on the 'read me' tab of the document), so you'll be ok for the next turns. Please be especially aware of these instructions concerning the tab 'Orders': - The current turn ("1" for this one, "2" for the next one, and so on) must be written in cell A1. - You must write in blue cells only. White cells contains formulas. DO NOT ERASE THE FORMULAS, otherwise the system will fail. If you think there is a problem, please tell me, but for no reason, do not overwrite the cells. - Write in columns P and Q the changes in course and speed. It is NOT the intended course and speed, but the changes. I will run the turn as soon as I have corrected the mistakes. Best, Francis

Gents, I have attached a kùz file related to weather and visibilty. Visibility depends on weather and tactical modifiers (such as crew skills and fatigue, ship speed, etc.). The weather is highly variable and is determined each turn for each area. The first area is defined by the red circle (3 nmi around Savo). The weather is especially bad here, with frequent thunderstorms. Average visibility is around 1000 yards. Current weather here is torrential rain, and visibility close to zero. The second area is inside the yellow circle. The weather is better than around Savo but intermittent precipitations reduce visibility almost half of the time. Average visibility is 5 t o 6000 yards, or 1000 - 2000 yards when it rains. The third area is outside the yellow circle. Weather is clearly better, with an average visibility of 10-12000 yards. It rains 20% of the time. Visibility can be modified by the ship afire east of Tulagi.
