la partie Daito Shoto (Harpoon V) est terminée depuis quelques semaines, et celle consacrée à la bataille d'Attu (Seekrieg / Long Lance) va probablement s'achever d'ici quelques tours. Seule la partie Mirmillon (Harpoon V) a le potentiel pour durer quelques mois de plus.

Je prépare donc la suite. Je ne sais pas si j'aurai le temps pour relancer une partie d'Harpoon dans les prochains mois, mais prépare un scénario Seekrieg V / Long Lance hypothétique basé sur la bataille de Savo. Ce scénario explore ce qui ce serait passé si l'amiral Mikawa n'avait pas fait le choix de rentrer à Rabaul, mais au contraire de pousser son avantage et d'attaquer la tête de pont américaine.

J'invite ceux qui sont intéressés à me contacter, même si le jeu ne commencera pas tout de suite (il faut finir le scénario actuel et achever les préparatifs de la nouvelle partie). J'attire votre attention sur le fait que le scénario ne sera pas aussi ambitieux qu'Attu, et qu'il y aura probablement moins de joueurs impliqués. Je ne pourrai probablement pas accepter toutes les candidatures.

One Harpoon V game (the Battle of Daito Shoto) has finished a few weeks ago, and a Long Lance (simplified version of Seekrieg V) will end in a few turns. Only the Harpoon game 'Operation Mirmillon' will probably continue in the next months.

I am currently working on new games. I don't know yet if I will have enough free time to organize another small Harpoon game, and focus for the moment on the next Long Lance one. It will be a 'what if' scenario inspired by the Battle of Savo Island. The scenario will explore what might have happened if admiral Mikawa did not return to Rabaul but reorganized his forces to attack the US beachhead.

Please tell me if you are interested, even if the game will not start soon. I need a few weeks, may be months, to finish the current game and set up the new one. Please also be aware that it will be a smaller game than Attu, with less units, and hence less players to command them. I will probably not be able to accept all people that want to join.
