Anyone out there with experience on increasing the standard 380 jib size using the existing fairleads? We are looking to get a new jib to handle offshore cruising in the islands and hopefully to the med. On our 2012 vintage L400 both engines and genset stopped working because of clogged fuel vent check valves. Has anyone else ever encountered this condition? A mechanic is going to repair by replacing the check valves.

Our 450S did not come setup with the bowsprit and additional aft winches installed in the cockpit. We are looking to add a downwind sail, and are looking at the additional hardware needed. I am getting a price from Lagoon for their Genaker setup. As part of their usual setup, it includes 2 Harken 60 winches installed over the aft cabins in the cockpit. I have an opportunity to purchase 2 slightly used Harken 46 winches for a fraction of the price of the 60s. But am not sure that the 46s will be able to handle the sheet loads. Any thoughts? hi all i keep struggling for an easy way to organise the storage space under the main seating in the saloon on my 380. I cant seem to find an easy way to use the storage efficiently for tools, Food and so on. I always seem to have to take everything out to get an item which is inevitable right at the back !! I’m even thinking now of opening up the space by cutting out the fibreglass ‘lid’ of the area and creating a wooden frame to hold the seat cushions. This would make the space more flexible. I know now that a number of members have done some clever mods on their boats. Does anyone have se clever ideas, suggestions ..... thank you in advance for your thoughts. I have a 2008 Lagoon 440 with a standard tall rig Sparcraft mast. I need to replace the sheaves at the top of the mast, 1 has cracked/disintegrated. Can anyone help me with a specific size and supplier? I am just trying to get everything prepared so I only need to make 1 trip up the mast. Thanks, Scott
