Have you disassembled the mechanism to see what broke?

replacement handles are $225 from multitech.marine
or
look up a spring company on internet and send them broken spring and ask them to match it. they sent me a free sample.
Eventually the original springs in all the cabin locks all broke starting in year 7 or 8 and by yr 10 they were all done..
