FYI - In case anyone else is looking for these flush/recessed anchor tie downs, we found them here:

Hi LaDonna,
Would you mind sharing what type of hardware anchors you used to fasten these to the fiberglass bulkhead?

We are trying to copy this exact setup for our 9 month old and are having a hard time figuring out what you used here.

Here is what we did for our grandson
We used phiphertex and sewed a vinyl edging all around to make it stronger. Covered both stairway and made one for the poet forward bunk. He was 1&1/2 when he visited and the gates were tested many times by him several times and they held well!
