Hello everyone
We have a Lagoon 380 S2, hull no. 519 and are currently in Colombia. The rope loops around the end of the boom look pretty worn (flat/burned) and we would like to replace them. I called it a boom-strap/mainsheet-strap. I had one made by Stix-n-Rig'n() in Kemah, TX, US and shipped. The original was 52" circumference(26" folded) but I felt this was too long and caused the mainsheet to rub on our hardtop, so I tightened it up to about 44.5" circumference(folded to 22.25"). Agree with Meir. For our L400, I made a strop of 1/8 inch dyneema to replace the velcro webbing that came with the boat. Spliced eyes in each end and used a small shackle to secure it. Works great as the dyneema easily slides along the boom with the outhaul. -Tim
