Good point which I had forgotten.? We also drilled drain holes in the bottom of the SS bimini support tubes.? This does prevent water build up inside.

We also found water in a similar location.? We found (eventually) that the water was getting inside the SS tubes that support the bimini.? We resealed the base of the tubes where they are screwed in

I'm not quite sure where you mean, but I had a leak around the external chartplotter above the steering wheel which led to drips onto the chart table inside. hope that helps. -- Peter
