Hi steve. I simply sanded the remaining paint. Polished the window and replaced the top layer is caulking with black. Looks great: zero maintenance in the future. -- ¡ª- David

Alistair, I've heard several people say they had no way of latching the door open. On my 410 I have slide bolts (from the factory) installed at both the bottom of the door and at the window frames.

I haven't attempted to take the door off yet but will do so when we haul out in November and perhaps the boat yard can do something similar
