Hi everyone, Mike Keenan has contacted me seeking information on one of Laffite's associates. I don't have have any information on the gentleman, so I thought someone here might. If anyone can help, you can contact Mike directly or send it to me via the list or privately. Mike's e-mail address is skywardpictures@.... Here's what he asked: Can you help with info about my 3rd GGF Ramon Lafón Barberón aka 'Raymond Lafón'? He was in with Jean Lafitte as were 4-5 other Lafón. They were from same area of France before coming to Caribbean/Gulf. My mother Michele Amelia Lafón and her sister were daughter's of Raoul Ortiz Lafón, who arrived here 1919 from Chihuahua to get away from Pancho Villa, his mother's family was from Matamoros. He had stories when I was a boy but we don't know who they all were. He died in 1974. Thanks for the assist. Happy Holidays!
