I had a bunch of my dad’s old slides digitized and found a lot of pictures of little Ruggieri cousins and their parents. ?You might enjoy taking a look at the Drop Box link, which will available for about three more weeks I think. ?I don’t know if Mike Ruggieri is on laFamiglia, but if not, could someone forward him this email? ?There’s a lot of cute Mike, Steve, Debbie, Becky, Mark, and Laura pics before I was born!

Fay - i've looked at them all! What a treasure - 1954 - 1978 - you were so lucky to have parents?that were excited about picture taking. (no offense, Mom, but you and Dad were NOT !) This was a real treat for me to see the "older" cousins as children?and teens. Loved the hairstyles and clothes - one of my faves is Grandmum?and Lonie at Joy's pool - Grandmum?in a bathing suit - WHAT??????

That’s fantastic, Jane! My dad would be tickled that we are enjoying looking through his lens 50 to almost 70 years later! (My mom took a few of these, but my dad was the photographer 90% of the time.) I found he captured a lot of everyday activities and states of being, vs. kids smiling and posing for the camera.?
You really got me thinking about the various age groups we all fell into, and how that affects our experiences and memories. After I mentally charted the oldest kids, the middle kids, and the young ones, there was always the oldest Debbie and the youngest, the baby Pete. ??
