Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
Was it called ¡°Tweety Bird¡±. Yellow. I remember trying to get it to talk to me.

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
Oops, Fay and Elaine. I was wrong?. Paul says there was a parakeet, and I wrote just a few seconds before his latest note arrived.

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
The bird was right to draw blood from such hecklers. Do you have a photo, Paul?

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
Fay, I bet it was the parrot, but I was gone for so long that I have spotty memories. However, I do remember the parrot when it was in the Jennersville house. For some reason, I don¡¯t remember it in

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
Yep, the parakeet and I thought more understandable than the parrot but I guess that was in the ears of the listener. Funny about life; Mom is gone, Aunt Millie is gone, the real Skipper is gone, the

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
That sounds familiar. I remember a bird that could say things like ¡°pretty bird¡± and ¡°go to hell¡± or some other mild cuss words.

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
Didn¡¯t Aunt Ronnie also have a parakeet that could talk?

Re: Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
As a little girl growing up (in the teens or 1920's) at 405 south Union, Ronnie had a parrot given to her and its name was "Loretta". I guess she really liked the bird as a pet. Fast forward to 1967 -

Aunt Ronnie's Parrot
some of us "younger" cousins have been remembering all kind of fond memories about our wonderful family. One question that we had was: What became of that darn parrot? Thanks Randy

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Big hello to Fred Schoch from me also.

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Dorothy, it was placed there when Lynn Sinclair not only put his name on a plaque but also chose other people to honor for plaques - I¡¯d say no more than five years ago. Lonie and I never heard

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Dorothy: I¡¯m not really sure but the Kennett Square Revitalization effort commenced sometime and maybe way after your Mom had died. I don¡¯t think the plaque existed when she was still living.

Re: A new perspective, a new love
The reason I ask is that I can¡¯t imagine my mother knew about the plaque and never told us. She was very devoted to her siblings. I was kind of stunned when I saw the picture (thanks, Rand). I will

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Dorothy, I don¡¯t know exactly. Lynn Sinclair did the research for those buildings. I think Lonie and I heard about it 4 or 5 years ago.

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Merry Christmas everyone!! Does anyone know when that plaque was put on the building?

Re: A new perspective, a new love
That would be the one ;)!

Re: A new perspective, a new love
Is this the plaque?

Re: A new perspective, a new love
This is so cool! I've seen the plaque in down and had no idea why it was there. I'm going to need to save all this info and send a picture of it next time I'm up there! [email protected]> wrote:

A new perspective, a new love
Yesterday I had a very random thought. Archie, my grandpop, died when I was 8 and I had not much memory of my dad ever sharing any stories. Could be my memory facility in question. I decided to learn
