Re: Rosalie's china cabinet
Thanks for the update, Peter. So glad you and Stephanie are doing well. Don¡¯t need a china cabinet, but nice offer to the family. Glad you're helping the economy with all those repairs and changes.

Rosalie's china cabinet
Hello all. Things are good and boring here in Lancaster for Stephanie and I. Health is good, no 'rona, and our income wasn't impacted. We also managed to stay married through 10 weeks of contractors

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Glad you joined in, Dorothy. I was going to call you and Sally for information, but Paul had already talked to Chookie. Mystery solved.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
I get busy for a while and come back to all of this interesting stuff on lafamiglia!! Once again, it is great to keep in touch with the past and present (and sometimes the future) of our family.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Thanks, Michael, for responding. Hope all¡¯s well in Philadelphia. Read the article. It always amazes me how far missionaries (Michele Ruggieri for one) ventured in the 1500s. He went by way of India

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
I am also not interested in any of the remaining plots. On a different note I received this link from an IT person at Temple: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michele_Ruggieri Cheers, Jen Ford Mike

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Hey, Steve, it was always Lonie¡¯s and my intent that the remaining lots should be for the family. I¡¯ve recently contacted St. Pat¡¯s and had discussions with Marie Elliott, business manager.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
The three plots will stay in the Ruggieri family, not ever be auctioned off. Elaine has the deeds as the last of Archie¡¯s children. It will definitely be first-come, first-serve¡ªbut hey, no rush

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Very interesting detective work. Thanks. I was paused in my reading of this thread of emails by?two things.?1. Three plots? When I went through the St. Pats cemetery administration to get permission

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
I made the same mistake. Lonie accurately typed pages that recorded each sibling of my father with their spouses and children. She probably heard the oral history also about Vincent, but I never did.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Louie did mention it. I was not clear. What I wrote came from her family history. I just copied it. I should have said: After the call from Paul, I checked the history almost certain I would find

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Melanie lived 14 years. Baby Vincent probably only hours. I¡¯m sure it must have been felt as a tragedy by Mary and Frank at the time. They were blessed with a healthy, handsome family soon after.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Or - where the name Vincent came from.

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Certainly we now know some folks knew of the baby death event but doesn't appear that anyone knew of the baby's burial location until yesterday 7/27/20. Thanks Elaine-

Re: For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Apologies to my sister. I just looked in another version of her family data and there under Frank and Mary¡¯s list of children (at the top) is : ¡°Vincent Ruggieri 1930 - 1930¡±. I called the

Sally, thanks for the details. Paul and I played detective. I was checking on the Ruggieri lots. The drawing I had from Lonie was confusing. I received from St. Pat¡¯s a better drawing and for the

For Elaine and Paul Andriole
Leave it to Lonie. ?She was devoted to family and detail. I thought she would have mentioned this in her family history. Frank T. Ruggieri-Mary DeArchangelo Ruggieri ?06/17/29 o1/11/06 -10/06/70 ?

Re: Easter horror story
Jacque, You weren¡¯t as my memory recalls. I don¡¯t even think you had woken up yet. I do remember getting caught sneaking out of the 2nd floor bedroom window above the kitchen. Obviously I hadn¡¯t

Jacque, I doubt that you were bratty or bossy, and even if you were, look how you turned out - caring and kind. Stay healthy. Elaine

I remember your family living with us. And it was kindergarten or first grade so from that view. I don¡¯t remember or haven¡¯t heard this story but I was young then and not so young now. I was
