Re: Rome, Barcelona and Seville

Pete,

If only three days in Italy, let alone Rome, I'd skip Terramo. ?This sounds like a fairly regimented/organized itinerary. You will absorb so much from them that abandoning their plans can lead to a frustrating loss of the package they are offering. ?Relax and enjoy.

When are you going?

Peter, I've been to Rome seven times and Barcelona once; never Seville. How are you traveling from Spain to Rome?

I'm looking at a 10 day trip to these three locations. I think there is 3 days in Rome, would you recommend a side trip to Terramo? Has anyone been to Seville?

Drue and I visited Seville in 1977.
It was beautiful, dare I say romantic city!
You will love it!!

Pete I was in Teremo once. ?The morning farmers and flea market is cool. Our cousins Carla, Katia, Valaria and Paolo Ruggieri are on Facebook. You could get a lunch date date with them and hang out in Sant Onero for a bit. Valeria loves her golden Retrievers and she's a dancer. You can see the ?the Adriatic from Carmen and Augustine's house. God help me I'm pretty sure his name is Augustine or Nevio. Go to Guilionova and stay over in a balcony hotel on the water. Kick ass Pescatores with 7 course dinner, free liquor trials. Down the Adriatic toward Bari there are awesome "hotel seis" inexpensive bed and breakfasts with balconies hanging on cliffs to the sea. You could drive straight across west on the Autostrad in a few hours to drive the Amalfi coast thru Pompeii and back to Rome. Make sure you get on the autostrad or you'll go thru 100s of little towns on mountains. Call me or FaceTime me. I've been to Barcelona too, during the olympics. Seville too while studying Spanish and Cadiz, drifting around southern Spain for a summer, a lifetime ago.?

Memory is taking a longer time to click in these days. ?Times were different back then. ?Millie and Tony had a lot of confidence in a 10- year old taking care of their precious baby. ?So did Ronnie and Joe because I babysat for Joey who was only a few months older than you. It was fun.

Dorothy sweet Aunt Lonie babysat just about all of us. Aunt Lonie taught 6th grade at Greenwood Elementary when I was in 5th and 6th grade. The students liked her, I was proud. Aunt lonie picked me up from school when I had my period. God the things we remember! I babysat for my Bother and sisters kids and now love taking little joey Coutts, MaryLou Baily and Nick Coutts' son swimming and playing. Planning to start hiking and rock climbing soon. Thinking of you.?
Love?
