Introducing... POP HIP HOPera Summer Workshop!
Share your love for musical storytelling using opera and hip hop! In POP's newest summer workshop, 3rd-12th graders will learn some very dope skills in song structure, using tips and tricks from two classic musical genres: opera and hip hop! Activate your voice to write, design, AND PERFORM, your own hip hopera scene...with a little help from the POP OGs.
Not one for a rap battle? Don't trip! POP still offers our traditional production workshop model, where kids and teens can design a hip hopera scene starring professional POP singers. Because at POP, there's always something for everyone!
See The POP HIP HOPera Performance Showcase on Saturday, August 2nd from 3:00-5:00pm!
Dates: June 14th - August 2nd, 2025
Schedule: Saturdays, 10am-12pm
(no class on July 5th)
