, a local journalism nonprofit, is accepting applications for our 2025 LARC Reporter In Residence: **** We will be selecting a handful of reporters throughout the year; the next deadline is Friday March 28th 6:00pm PT (for consideration for the April, May & June Reporter In Residence positions).? ABOUT THE LARC REPORTING INCUBATOR: Throughout 2025, LA Radio Club will be working with SoCal-based reporters to make short-form audio documentaries with a hyper-local focus. Each reporter goes through our four week incubator to produce, record and edit a full story. And that's an emphasis on "short": we're looking for pitches for ~5 minute audio pieces.? to read about our January 2025 Reporter In Residence, Kilo Martin, & ?to check out the work made by our 2024 Reporters In Residence. If selected to participate, you will... ??Receive a $250 stipend (as a "licensing fee", as reporters will retain rights to their work) ? Receive editorial support from the LA Radio Club advisory board & other volunteers ? Have your story air on the "LARC Presents" podcast & KCHUNG radio station ? Meet with LARC's?partner outlets to pitch your story for distribution on their platforms, as well ? Be profiled in our newsletter & social media channels **** Questions?
