Performance and Conceptual artist Lee, Ming Sheng, has taken up artist in
residence status at the 18th Street Arts Complex for the next six months.
Ming Sheng is an early practitioner of peformance and conceptual body works
in Taiwan, and worked throughout a politically repressive period of time to
ultimately be seen at the 1993 Venice Biennale.
Lee Ming Sheng will be a featured artist at the 18th Street Arts Complex this
July during the LA International Biennale. he will be joined by our other
visiting artists this summer, Tatsuo Inagaki of Japan, and Michael Lindenmann
and Bronia Iwanczyk of Australia.
