Machine present a FREE Six-Week Performance Art
Workshop by acclaimed interdisciplinary artist Michael
Sakamoto with the assistance of performance artist
Rochelle Fabb. The class, which will focus on
creative skills in interdisciplinary performance art,
including movement, text, visual and stage elements,
will take place at the Watts Towers Arts Center. It
is free to the public and open to artists age 16 and
older of any experience level. Classes start Sunday,
March 25, and enrollment is limited, so please sign up

Award-winning performance and visual artist Michael
Sakamoto will take students step by step through
movement, performance, language, writing and other
techniques, moving them towards creating new and
entirely personal modes of expression and culminating
in a public performance for family and friends at the
Watts Towers Arts Center! Michael Sakamoto is a Los
Angeles-based butoh dance theater, installation and
graphic artist. His original stage and visual works
draw from culture, history and language from around
the world and have been seen in Germany, Denmark,
Mexico, Seattle, San Francisco and throughout Southern
California.
