Sunday Jazz Brunch, New Album, and Mothers Day Celebration! May 18th at 11 AM

Dear Friends,

As one critic said of my new song, ¡°Mother Tongue Mantra,¡± ¡°This is one great tune with a ?jazzy, bluesy vibe and impressive vocals.¡±

Please join me for my next San Miguel de Allende, Mexico performance before I leave for performances in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this summer.

The concert, ¡°Mother Tongue: ?An Ancestral Jazz Journey,¡± will present songs from my upcoming album of the same name, celebrating Mothers¡¯ Day and women¡¯s contributions.

I¡¯ll sing new and old favorites from my three albums as well as covers in my trademarked, ¡°blachant¡± style of?my global, Afrodescendant?heritage.? I create authentic, Afrofutures music that update my ancestral sonics?for new times and all people.? I try to create a taste of truth, love, joy, healing and community in a troubled but still wonderful world.

In addition to straight up spirituals, jazz, and blues, and R&B, I will mash up other Afrogenres, including bossa nova, samba, salsa, and rock too for a unique experience.

In addition to musical food for the soul, you¡¯ll enjoy the Afrofusion cuisine of award-winning Chef Jacqui Richardson for a full taste of the culture.

Happening at a private event venue in Lejona, see the flyer below to buy tickets, get the address, and spread the word.? Net ticket revenue will support San Miguel¡¯s girls orphanage.

I can¡¯t wait to see you there!? All are welcome.? Thank you for your support.

Hapoy Sunday,

Jackie ¡°Bouvier¡± Copeland
