LA-1K on the way, sometime................

A while back, I ordered the LA-1K.? It should be here soon to Christmas time.?
The LA will replace and my Dentron 160-10L and Ameriton, Model ARB-704 setup that can be used as a back up.? Don't think that the 704 will be needed with the LA?? I am running a Yaesu FTDX-10, to the HF-Auto - not always used, to various antennas from 160m to 6m, Win 11 where most all programs are ran in Win 8 mode, DXLabs Suite, WSJT, JTAlert, and other software.? I like DXing, contesting, SSB, CW, FT4/FT8, and RTTY. ?
What can I do to prep for the LA-1K arrival?? After its arrival??? Cable interface connections?? Software needed?? Sorry, I need to go back and review what I bought a long time ago.? Got a good memory, but it is short!? LOL

Prep work?? Just clear off a space so you can hook that sucker up and play with it!? It does a great job of frequency sensing, but if you have icom or yaesu they sell a cable so that amp switches when you change bands at the radio.? I saw no use for it...just another cable. The only thing I did between pluggingit?in and hitting the PTT was look at the ALC.? That was really the only "tweak" that was remotely necessary.?? The amp is gonna make you lazy, hi hi.? I run it between my TS890 and my autotuner, so will put it into standby after I QSY to ensure the tuner does its thing first, then i'll tap the OPR/STBY button and let it rip.? I find there's a factor of approx 20x when it comes to power gaz-inta/gaz-outa.? For instance 10 watts gaz-inta the amp and about 200 gaz-outa the amp.
