White screen of death?

Barry All Messages By This Member #306 Havent had my amp for a week and i got a white screen instead of the nice screen. Is there any way out of this without sending it back to Ohio? Anyone else hear of this issue or is the monkey on my back still....

Barry All Messages By This Member #308 Edited Here was my solution. I used a serial cable that didnt have to be connected to anything. Plugged it into the rear of the amp while it was off. ?The yaesu Serial port. When i turned on the amp, i then saw the Screen again. Then i turned off the amp and disconnect the cable. Turn the amp on and tested the amp works fine again. It did happen a few other times since then, and each time Resolved by doing this. The amp was only a few weeks old. I have now had my amp for several months and has never happened again,? 73 VE6BMX
