开云体育Jerry, ? 220 volts ? 35 watts input would give me only 750 out into a dummy load on any of the other bands.? Takes 55 watts to make 1KW for me. ? Rich Kd0zv ? ? ? ? ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of JERRY ? Are using 120 or 220? My 7610 drives it to 1KW with ~35w on 220 vac (160m) |
开云体育Rich, I never tried the LA-1K on 160 ( I have no antenna for 160), but just tried it into a 2K Dummy Load in CW Key down for the first time. This is what I show on the LA-1K Wattmeter and also on the Alpha 4510 wattmeter that follows it (both agree on the wattage): ? ??????????????????????? 35 input = 889 Watts ??????????????????????? 45 input = 940 Watts ??????????????????????? 50 input = 1020 Watts ? ??????????? 73, Reid W2HU ? 开云体育Just erected a 160m EFHW today (turned into an eight-hour day). Did a quick tune (7610, Palstar HF Auto, Palstar LA-1K) this evening. On 1940 with 45w LSB drive I obtained 1250W; 10w LSB drive saw around 300W. ? Dave N3IL ? --? ? ?
