Updating KiCad

开云体育

I started a new project under version 8.0 and a pane popped up to say that there is an update, but it disappeared before I could do anything about it. I cannot find any 'check for updates' command under Files, Tools, Preferences or Help. On the Web site, I can only see version 8.0 and 'Nightly' available.

What I would very much like to do is import a schematic from LTspice. I was told some time ago that it would be possible in version 8.x. Please advise.

Agreed that there appears to be no 'Check for Update' button anywhere,
which seems like an omission.

Hi
The main "feature" - junction dot is not imported. ?
At least I tested with two LTspice schematics.

Thank you. Which version of KiCad do you have? I'm not surprised about the LTspice 'dots', that are square.

Junction point is not imported but net connection still present.
I checked with Highlight Nets button. So... imported schematic is correct electrically.
But dependent how schematic complicate you will have (or not have) total mess with visualization and understanding of schematic.
