Footprint Aggregates?

I frequently use aggregated footprints to expedite design. Similar to a footprint but consisting of an commonly used aggregate of several components wired together, these can be loaded like a footprint and dropped into place. More important---and this is key---they remain tied together so they can be selected with one click and move/rotated etc as a group.
? I don't see this feature on KiCad (is there one?) but a work around is simply having a way of binding components already set in the PCB layout together as a group so one doesn't have to laboriously select them individually over and over when the group needs to be moved.
?? Is there a way to do this?

thanks
fritz

PS-apologies for all the recent posts but I am a new potential user and trying to evaluate KiCad this weekend.

I recommend organizing the sche. Atics using hierarchical sheets and then make good use of this action plug in for pcbnew:?
