Like many others, I'm very new to Ki-Cad. So far it is impressive with
what you can do despite its limits and bugs. Where I'm having the most
difficulty is with the 3D image editor. How do you draw a new package
when you have dimensions? The 3D modeler show grids, but little else.
My first package is a 28 lead MLF part that is just under 6 mm per
side. If I had a "monkey see, monkey do" procedure, I think I could
work out how to do most any other package.
