Kicad Users /g/kicad-users This group is for users of KiCad, the amazing integrated EDA program. Not only does it capture schematics and layout PCBs, it is open source, free and runs on a range of platforms. This group concentrates on actually using KiCad, so post your questions, hints, tips and suggestions for improvements. The transfer from [email protected] to [email protected] has been kindly sponsored by Peter Dalmaris, author of Kicad Like a Pro Wed, 31 Aug 2005 12:54:34 -0700 Re: Symbols /g/kicad-users/message/24397 <html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type"/> </head><body> <div class="moz-cite-prefix">On 26/03/2025 14:54, Dave Farrington via groups.io wrote:<br/> </div> <blockquote cite="mid:[email protected]"> <div>Symbols had been my bugaboo ever since I started trying to teach myself KiCad. I personally know little of GitHub, but security-wise it seems to be quite strict. Contractually say the updates are to be posted daily to GitHub after any time on the project. Multiple payments based on progress and final percentage based on acceptance testing of a revised design. Don’t know if project management goal posts are applicable, but if a submitted quote includes one there are the payment milestones.</div> <div>There’s nothing saying multiple contractors be simultaneously engaged, but I would be open with that fact.</div> <div> </div> <div>Cheers,</div> <div>Dave F.</div> Daves.djet@...
