Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
Hardly ever 'breadboard' anything either. Not to mention the quality of a circuit build on a PCB. Ground loops, stray capacitance, reduced inductance, etc. For a large projects with a bunch of

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
The prices are ridiculously low even when you include shipping. The time it takes means I rarely breadboard on veroboard anymore and just design straight in Kicad then to pcb. I remember in the UK

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
Ah, OK. I guess the VAT equivalent is being paid then if that is how they are charging you. I have a couple of projects I want to do, so will seriously look at using Elecrow. Regards

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
I live in Spain so I don?t know how it will work with the UK. Certainly here I have no problems with import duties or customs here. I do notice that their payments are to Elecrow UK so I guess they

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
I contacted them, they also won't ship to us.? Ok, their loss. I mentioned I'm having boards fabricated, assembled, and sent on to where we'll be staying in Armenia.? The customer those boards are

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
Hadn't realised Elecrow did PCBs. I've just bought a couple of 14" laptop displays off their kickstarter, and seen their adverts for laser cutting acrylic and the like. Did the PCBs come VAT paid?

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
If your boards are small. OSHpark as mentioned below is a great option. I've done a bunch of boards lately, and they are tiny for various reasons. Some were billed at $1.50 USD, for three boards

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
Getting pcbs overseas is not like it was a decade ago. Before, you had to worry about shorts and opens and the pcbs would come with obvious repairs. Then, it took 2 to 4 weeks for the thing to come.

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
I have used Elecrow for several years, never had any problems. Also their shipping cost is very reasonable and quick (8 days for regular shipping). I just had a board made by JLCPCB (it is teflon that

We used to use PCBgogo but being in Russia they will no longer ship to us.? So, off to another Chinese fabricator who doesn't care about

Re: Singing the praises of Smart-Prototyping.com
More expensive but I can recommend OSH Park (https://oshpark.com). Have had many many boards from them and all good. Can literally drag-and-drop your KiCad project file onto their order page, no

All, The cost of Blue transfer film and etchant (including trying to dispose of the used etchant here in New York State) forced me to try one of those overseas discount PCB fab houses.? Many

Thanks for prompt replies. I'll create a new project.

Re: Adding a schematic sheet KiCad 7.0
I wish you could use sheets, but the best I've been able to do is make up a bogus "root" sheet that's never used and then you can have sheets under it.? Messy, but works.

Re: Adding a schematic sheet KiCad 7.0
I don't think it is as far as I know. I think additional schematic sheets can only be added as 'sub-sheets' below the 'main' one.

Adding a schematic sheet KiCad 7.0
Is is possible to add a second schematic sheet, not a hierarchical sheet, to a project?? I use KiCad to draw schematics for diagrams in reports, and this particular project requires two quite large
