Dean (N2TNN) sent me the propagation predictions for tonight before the net. The predictions were rated as Poor for Day and Night for 80-40 m, 30-20 m, 17-15 m, 12-10 m. The signal noise level was listed as an S9+. Two meters through 6 meters were closed. Despite the predictions, we carried on.

Twenty meters was still depressed as propagation conditions for daytime activity suggested. Check-ins were not up to average on that band. I believe either Mike (W3TS) or George (W5GS) may have been trying to check-in on twenty (20) as I heard an S. However, neither I, nor Dean, was able to copy the station. Sorry about that.

Mike, The net was on 14332 yesterday, and unfortunately there is another net starting at 4 pm on that frequency, so we were gone by 4pm yesterday. Hopefully, if the weather is better the net will be back on 14325 next week. I was hearing stations to the east, and put out a couple of calls on 14332, but I don't think you were back home yet, but Dan has you covered for this week. Signals were better tonight than they have been for a while. Despite better band conditions overall, there was a lot of QSB all around.

A special thank you to Stan (W4AG) for logging most of the stations worked and for being the NCS on 40 and 80. Also, a thank you to Dean (N2TNN) for making some calls on 20 and 40 meters. We teamed up to work AI5DD (QRP) on 40 meters.

Propagation predictions for 20, 40 and 80 were all poor for daytime use today. ?The predictions changed to good at night but most of us were in the daylight for our nets at this time of the year.? Despite the poor predictions, we did well overall, although we were missing a few regulars.??
