Latest testing session

Hello Everyone,

We do ham radio testing quarterly?here in KlamTucky. Occasionally, a testing session really stands out. Like the time a YL drove over from Medford and took the test and went from Zero to Extra in one session. Well, I have another one. This past Saturday, an eleven-year-old boy came over from Ashland and took his Tech test and passed it. Way COOL! His License was issued today, KK7ZSK.

Jim? WO7V

Good to hear?

First one done too! I was curious what he was planning to do with his license but he was done and gone before I finished mine.?

KK7ZSK and KK7ZLO (right and center)were at our meeting last night, as well as another friend they are recruiting. ZLO already has his quenshang firmware modified, transmitting his call via cw and is very tech savvy. They are 11 and 12. They would like to form an Ashland EC for kids. I have offered to take them for a portable operation to get on 10m. These boys are self motivated, I think inspired partly from an uncle in McMinnville.?
