Hi Bill The antenna that came with your HT should be ok. I just want us all to have the advantage of a high gain antenna if you have one due to all the metal buildings with metal roofing on spring

Walt, I use a Icom 51A HT. Which has its original antenna. I¡¯m hoping it will do. If not, what is a suitable replacement ¡°hi-gain¡± antenna for it. Bill
