Re: SOTA Lecture
At the lecture I was giving away laminated 8.5 x 11 copies?of the ARRL band map (with the WAS map on the backside) along with a quick reference card.? I only brought 10 thinking that there wouldn't be so much demand.? If you missed out come to the club meeting on the 23rd and I will bring some more to give away. 73, Jim WO7V |
SOTA Video and Jefferson SOTA invite
I usually don't do youtube but this is probably the easiest way to share the slideshow I forgot. Mainly just highlight pics from 2019-2022. we live in such an amazingly beautiful area that I only knew a fraction of before sota.? You also may recognize some locations and faces. You can see its far more than just about radio for me. Some of these pics are though some of the most difficult losses I've gone through.? Summiting and the SOTA community have been my PT and mental health support! You have to have the link to watch:
?
I also have a groups.google for Jefferson State SOTA. It isn't very active other than during the campout time. However, we do want to start meeting locally on a regular basis and it is a good place to find hiking partners.

Re: SOTA Lecture
开云体育I'd like to thank everyone who attended the SOTA lecture on Saturday.? It was a great success. Special thank you to Amy Haptonstall (AG7GP) and her husband for making the trip over the hill.? Thank you for sharing your knowledge of SOTA and providing a great introduction to it. After the lecture, Amy led a group to Hamaker and Chase Mtn for some SOTA fun.? Unfortunately, I was unable to make the trip.? From what I understand, it was a great success.? Eric/KD6RRR reported SSB contacts in Oklahoma, Japan and Ghana! Thank you everyone!
