Locked Web Server / Operations manifest view problem #operationspro

Hello,

When using the manifest view, operation tab on 4.15.7, each car has a 'null' in the data line. Example:

Pull?SP?481289?null?MTY?from U&I Coal

I believe - not having any other version than 4.15.7 presently installed - that the null field in this case corresponds to what is normally the car type. In the conductor view, the same car is listed as follows:

SP?481289?HTS?MTY?from U&I Coal

This is happening in both Edge and Chrome browsers in Windows 10. I can create a new GitHub issue if necessary as well, or upload a backup copy of my ops pro files. These trains were all built clean in 4.15.7, not leftovers from pre-update.

A fix is in for this on GitHub. I don't know if it will make JMRI version 4.15.8 (and 4.16), or be in 4.17.1.

Randall,

Thank you for the update.?

Sam:

Can you try a build from to see if the proposed fix works for you? This will not require rebuilding the manifests to test.

Randall,

Worked like a charm.

I think that the only quibble I have remaining at the moment for Web Server and Ops is one I mentioned a while back (Groups.io discussion here) is related to the display of the hyphen feature for location and track names in certain instances. As an example, the manifest view will show a location of 63108 and a track name of Connell Yard-(Team), and the conductor view will show the same information as 63108-(Connell) and Connell Yard-(Team). A printed manifest shows everything correctly, e.g. 63108 and Connell Yard.

Sam:

Glad it works.

I missed that discussion about the inconsistencies with the hyphenated location names. If you could open a GitHub issue describing the issue, I'll be able to track that as something to fix.

Randall,

I can do but I did see that Dan B. was in that area in github recently making some changes so he may have already addressed it.?
