Locked Walthers DCC turntable

Between which leads did you wire the toggle switch? I am guessing it's on the control box side (terminal 3/4) rather than the table track power side (terminal 1/2). Correct. I actually only have 2 wires going to it. I ran the DCC input to 3 & 4. Bridge track power from 3 - 1 & 4 - 2. I did add an on/off switch to one side with a SPST switch. That shuts it down.
I did that so I can remove the bridge when I am working in that area. I am doing the scenery on that section right now. The power is off to my Turntable & the bridge is out. I can still run trains. Jay |

Again thanks Jay. I have a block detector on the turntable track. I was able to keep track power/block detection on the table but turn the TT controller on and off with the toggle switch.
I will only control the TT motion via the control box or thru macros on the throttle. Russell Amico On Oct 8, 2016, at 3:07 PM, [email protected] [jmriusers] <jmriusers@...> wrote: [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Roger T.
I've had two Walthers 90 foot TTs.
The original, which had a better controller. That gave up the ghost a few years ago. I then purchased the newer DCC version. I've had it installed for about three years. It use to work until about a year ago. Now it just rotates non-stop, ignoring all the programmed stops. Reprogramming doesn't work. It just rotates, endlessly. Be warned. Cheers Roger T. |
