Triggering sound #rfid #sensors

I would like to know if there is a simple way to trigger a sound when a sensor is triggered to alert the dispatcher? A simple ding would work, although since I’m using rfid a pre recorded message “Engine 160 has arrived at (sensor location) Fire Creek” would be amazing. It’s a small layout with a few engines so prerecording all the combinations would not be that big a job.? Thank you |

Here is a simple LogixNG to play a file. You can also use Logix or a script to play a file. 开云体育Micheal, ? I’ve been having a sound triggered for sensors connected to circuit breakers for years. On my CTC, when an OS becomes occupied, it dings. Simple as having the condition for a Logix be the sensor and the action being ‘play the sound’ will do it. With the breakers, there is a pair of actions, one true and one false. The true says the breaker tripped, the false says the breaker has cleared. ? -Ken Cameron, Member JMRI Dev Team
