Locked Panel Pro - Track Layout extends beyond screen #layouteditor

Have developed track layout using layout editor. All displays fine in edit mode; however, turning off edit mode only about 2/3 of the track is displayed w/o having to scroll. In edit mode, can zoom to .75 an all appears fine, when edit mode off and zoom to .75, 1/3 of the track and corresponding turnouts are missing, labels and text remain in place. I would like to display layout w/o having to scroll.

Edit mode coordinates Left: 0, 180; 0, 550 Right 1630, 180; 1630, 550. Screen size 13" laptop, resolution 1920 x 1080.

Suggestions most welcome!

Allan?

Please provide some more information so people know how to help.?

What system are you working on, what version of JMRI, what version of Java for examples.?

There have been many updates in how the editors work and display as newer versions have come out.

This is a known issue (at least by me) between the clipping region and magnification (zoom) in the LayoutEditor.
My previous attempts kinda worked¡ except then the layout would draw over the scrollbars¡ :(
Sometime the "Zoom to fit" will fix it.
It's been "in my queue" for a while to take another look at this.

See : LayoutEditor: Fix zoom clipping issues.
I've got the clipping issue fixed¡ but now the scroll bars are wack¡ [/sigh]¡

Ok, scrollbars fixed¡ Try it and let me know what you think. (BTW: in case you didn't know: you can zoom in/out with the track wheel while the alt (option) modifier is down.)

Oh, and check your grid sizes; usually for english I use 16 (pixels to an inch) and 12 (inches to a foot); for metric I use 10/10.

I had the same issue when I projected this on my TV screen as a second display.? However, I seem to have corrected it when I adjusted the resolution in the laptop in the way it was projected to the TV monitor. Now it shows the full layout.
Before, it would do the same thing, zoom out with Ctrl - /+ and it would correct.? But after I set the TV monitor to a higher resolution, it isn't cutoff when I start up the program.

Have you tried it with the new PR?

Strangely, have found what does work. Zoom to .25, than to .75 - works well. No need to change resolution. Thank you all for your support!
