For some reason in the last while, when previewing a manifest, the car number only displays 6 characters, even though some of the cars have numbers greater than 6 characters.? In the manifest text file the car number shows all digits, so it's definitely a problem with the preview.? I have noticed the headers for "Type" and "Length" are also truncated.? I don't think I have changed anything, so I am not sure when this started happening.? I have attached screenshots of the manifest text file, print preview, and the "Edit Manifest Header Text" window.? Any ideas?? Thank you for your help.

The maximum number field width is 6 characters on Manifest and switch list produced by the program.? ?The program will truncate anything longer when creating Manifests and switch list.

?

For the type field, the program finds the longest type name, and then uses that for the column width.? Same goes for length.? The system console reports the maximum type name when a Manifest is created.

That's odd because I was quite sure this was working at one time.? I could be mistaken though.??

The issue is that I have 5 flat cars that carry heavy machinery that all have the same car number, and I want to differentiate them, as they each have different types of heavy machinery.? I will experiment with the comments field and see if I can fit all fields on one line (looks a lot better).? Can you suggest another method of differentiating these flatcars on the manifest other than the car number or comments?

I made it work with comments.? I was listing the division on the manifest but have found that now that I use custom loads and schedules that division has become less important (if even required anymore) and was taking a lot of room, so I took that off the manifest.??
