Description:
Virtual Sound Decoder file for an Alco S-1 loco (made from 1940 to 1950). Used a model 539 diesel and had no turbo. All sound files are 11khz, 8 bit mono (which, although they are less detailed, are smaller and take up much less room). Changed config file to make sounds more balanced (thanks Klaus!) and although these sounds are not perfect, they give a good caricature of what I think they should be (although I accidentally propagated the poppet sound onto several notches....)
