I'm happy to help with questions, and there are other members who can help too. This Yahoo group is still pretty young, so hasn't gotten a lot of traffic yet.

Note that there's a short delay in posting (perhaps as much as 12 hours, but usually shorter) because I've got this group set on "moderate new members". That's because other Yahoo groups have been being spammed recently. Once I'm convinced somebody is a real email address, I remove them from moderated status.

I'm here, Bob. I am not currently using jmri stuff, but am interested in
following the progress. Count me in.

Bob,
I'm a Mac OS X user (10.8.6) having trouble getting my C/MRI sensors to work on my PanelPro layout.
It was working (but not anymore) on another Mac OS X (10.4.5) with no problems. I unplugged the serial adapter while running PanelPro and received an error message saying that "the serial adapter was disconnected". After that I could not get the sensors to display on the layout using 10.4.5.
So, with a new Mac I though it was finally time to install everything on 10.8.6 but still no sensors are working on the panel layout.
Can you suggest some trouble shooting that I might try. I'm not at all a techie but I do have some friends that could help.

You may need to install a driver for your serial adapter on your new Mac.

Yes you will need to install the correct mac drivers for your USB to serial device. Then you will need to go into the preferences file in JMRI and select the proper connection for the new device.

Ouch!. How did this pop out of the drawer ?? 2002 and 2014 ...

Funny, still the same questions 4 years later; driver for Mac.

This thread popped up a couple of hours ago with a recent time-tag too, but only on the Topics list.

After taking the bait, and scratching my head, I checked the Messages list to find nothing within the last forty-eight hours.

Does 开云体育 have a bug, or is there something deeper hidden here?

Cliff,

Bug might be closer to you, I spend a lot of personal effort deleting posts from
this group, thinking about asking for compensation payments.
