Locked Issue with JMRI start up

This is a problem that has been getting worse in recent months. I'm using a Digitrax DCS 150 with a PR-3 and a power booster in-line. Don't have a problem with that side of the set-up. On my Dell laptop, Win 7, 32 bit, I can't get JMRI to start. I've noticed that I've needed to "open" the program multiple times before it will start. Now, it won't start at all. I've uninstalled Java and got that notice to make sure Java wasn't the issue. It's reinstalled now.

When trying to start JMRI the warning I get is something about a line missing. I'll try to get a capture of the exact notice. Anything i should try?

Mike

Mike,

What version of JMRI are you using?
I would recommend upgrading to 4.18 before doing anything else.

There is no such device as a DCS150... In a previous post of yours you made the same mistake.

What you need to do is post the System Console log. Go into HELP, System Console. Copy to clipboard? and past (CTRL+V)? to this thread so people can view the log.

Quite possibly the answer is in the log.

The log will also indicate what other items you are loading.

Write down what the warning message is and what choices you are presented with. Otherwise it's very hard to help.

If you can get JMRI far enough to access the system console, follow Marc's instructions so we can also see the system console log.
