Decoders for non-standard signaling systems? #functiondecoder #signals

Greetings!
?
Does anyone know if there are decoders on the market that can be programmed by the user to show non-standard aspects?
?
I am about to build a non-american model railway where there are ready-made decoders for most but not all signals, and I would like to use off the shelf products wehenever possible.
?
All feedback is welcome.

You should be able to build that non-standard stuff in the JMRI signal system.
I added modifications to AAR1946 to include semaphores.
Either you could modify a system that's close to your foreign system or build new from scratch.

There are quite a few accessory decoders available in Europe which model European signalling systems. ?

The week may start M,T but it always ends WTF.

Anders,
?
Are you asking for hardware solutions for a specific signaling system as I have interpreted your posting?? It seems that you want to interface such hardware with JMRI, which might narrow your quest.?
?
Without some specifics as to what system you are modeling, it is likely that we can only speculate or shotgun possibilities that might help, maybe.

Have a look at LCC nodes.
Default signal head has 4 lamps, R/Y/G/L, but possible to have up to 16 LED controlled by one command.
Just starting myself, but seems to have the flexibility you are looking for.
You can download the signal node manual from RR-Circuits, or look at DIY LCC nodes.
All configured (and can be integrated) with JMRI.

Thank uoy all!
?
I will look into the LCC options.
?
Yes, it's primarily hardware that I am looking for, which would then be interfaced with a computer running JMRI.

Would the ESU Signalpilot fill your needs? I feel so, but the possible problem would be that you will need Lokprogrammer if you want the decoder programming easy. I could imply up to 400+ CVs. 8( It is not supported (yet) by DecoderPro.
?
A colleague has been able to define several USA and UK signals and I did with Spanish signals, all of them not supported out-of-the-box by the decoder, but not difficult to define them and their different aspects.
