I have been noticing the following entry in the console log.

timestamp audio.JoalAudio Factory INFO Initialised JOAL using OpenAL: vendor – OpenAL Community Version – 1.1 ALSOFT 1.15.1 [Listed Table Generation]

It comes after the panel is loaded and when the first train is run.

Can someone tell what this is. As far as I know we have no audio built in the panels

Using JMRI Version 4.8 on Windows 10 with Java 1.8.0_131

INFO messages are for informing you in passing about something. Sometimes they’re too much information. This one is telling you which audio libraries JMRI found from looking around your computer. It doesn’t need them yet if you’re not using sound, but the code was written to find them when it could.
