Locked connecting a virtual block to a physical block in JMRI
I am trying to solve a problem with a single block divided by a bridge. ?This bridge swings open, and I would not like to end up adding wires across the gap. ?1) Is it possible in JMRI to have two physical blocks, one on the left of the bridge, and one on the right of the bridge that connect to a single "virtual" block in JMRI panels? ?Could this design make the two blocks act as one, so the signal system responds only to the master virtual block? ?2) How would this be built in JMRI panels?
Thanks for any help. Philip Rockwood |
Philip, How about using Logix to OR the real occupancy sensors to an internal sensor which is assigned to the virtual block which spans the bridge. ?JMRI does not need to ?know about the real blocks.
