Locked NCE USB Issue with RPi4 #nce #rpi

I ordered a Raspberry Pi 4 and am using Steve Todd's wonderful image to run JMRI.? I can access the desktop at 192.168.6.1 perfectly and everything appears fine except that I can never get my NCE PowerCab to connect.? I disabled the autoidentify and set the preferences up manually choosing NCE USB.? I always get error: Unable to connect on ttyxxxx
It looks like there are 2 ports, ttyS0 and ttyAMA0.? I tried both of them in preferences but neither worked.
What am I missing here?? I had this working on a Windows laptop some time ago with the exact same NCE USB PowerCab setup.
Any thoughts of help to troubleshoot and resolve would be appreciated.

RPi's are nothing like Windows it has the unix slant so you need to do a lot of configuration via edits. Not sure where you are at in that aspect of editing so I won't just
post up a lot of pico edits. I think Steve is using Buster

Look at this as it speaks to what you may be experiencing. Your USB port may not be mounted.

I'm downloading the image from Steve. If I get a chance later on (if you don't get it resolved) I'll load it and see what happens myself. I may need to use it on this layout I'm building.

Thanks Inobu.? I changed the PrivateMounts from 'yes' to 'no' and it didn't work.? I'm going to try to install an earlier OS than Buster and install JMRI manually to see if it works.? Will report back on progress/status.
