Locked Arduino, JMRI, and relay-controlled turnouts

Jared Nichols

Hi all-

I’ve been at this for a bit, so I thought I’d just throw it out there and say that if you’ve got twin-coil type turnout motors (like the Peco PL-10 or PL-11) and you’re trying to drive them with relays and use JRMI/Arduino to control them, I’ve got the solution for you. Basically, you’ll need a spare Arduino and utilize CMRI. I’m attaching the sketch I made for it.

If you’ve been struggling with this or are curious, let me know and I’ll be happy to share what I’ve learnt.
