Locked Bouncing

I keep getting daily digest messages bouncing supposedly because of an invalid e-mail address -? despite being addressed to "ian.breeden@..." - The problem only appears to happen to messages from this .io group.

Any suggestions

Ian

This is the e-mail address I see from you?ian.breeden@.... I don't know where this is stored but I don't think an "=" sign is permitted in an e-mail address. This might very well be the cause of the problem.

Testing? via PRIVATE Email via Groups.io .

If this mail gets thru to you, then Groups.io has the proper Email address for you.

15 minutes before you sent this message, groups.io reported you were no longer bouncing.

From groups.io Help:

Bounce

A bounce happens when an email message cannot be delivered. Possible reasons include an incorrect email address, a full mailbox, or a problem connecting to an email server.

This obfuscation is deliberately done to email addresses contained in public messages by groups.io in an attempt to prevent email harvesting.

The Private mail went strait to Ian and he responded. So the Email seems valid.

Groups.io provides a lot of information under the Subscription link. You can see any recent error messages under the "email delivery history" tab for your email address. Try this link to get there directly for your email (requires you to be logged in to groups.io with the correct email address) :-

/g/jmriusers/subdeliveries

Moderators can see the same information via the Members link under the Admin links. Just search for the member and then click on the correct row in the search results.

I would assume that is exactly what he did to discover his digest? transfer was bouncing continually. I am not aware of any other way to find out.
