There appear to be some issues with printing.? When printing a roster, it appears to make a postscript file (ps) ?In another case, printing of the roster (to file) creates a pm file...something to do with pearl.? When printing a listing of cv's, this is only a long list of cv number and value.? It serves little purpose.? You have no idea what cv number is what without a label or a DCC guide to look it all up in.? When running jmri on a RPI, it is a real headache to get a printed listing off the system.? I seeem to have to print a roster, select all functions and generate the postscript report.? Then scroll the report and clip off screen shots - save as jpeg - ftp to my windows pc - and print off the jpegs to my printer and punch it all up into a binder.? Why are these print jobs not coming out as simple text files that can be easily read by word or notepad?? Am I missing something here? ?thanks ?Bob

It sounds like you don¡¯t have a printer attached to your RPi.

It might be easier to run another copy of JMRI on another computer and print the roster from there; you just have to move (or file share) the roster to do that.

Alternately, you can just print the postscript file. That¡¯s what they¡¯re for. Somebody else will have to say how to do that on Windows, as I don¡¯t know the details, but there¡¯s probably a ¡°Preview¡± tool or similar that will open the file and allow you to print it.
