Locked Changing Decoder Selection

Hi,
The only way I have found to make a decoder selection in DP (4.12 is what I am using with Power Cab and a Sprog 3) is with the initial selection when creating a new loco roster entry. I realize that DP probably chooses its tabs and check lists based on the decoder selection. However, is there a way to change the selected decoder without having to create a new roster entry?

No.

There¡¯s no way the program could figure out what to do about the various possible differences.

The best thing you can do is to create a new roster entry with the new type and then read the contents of the decoder into it via the program track.
