Locked Can¡¯t get your software working on MacBook Air

Folks

I am a newbie. I have got things working on Microsoft but not on a Mac. Has anyone of you loaded on a new Mac and got it working. I am staring at the screen of the Decoder pro and have a stand alone PR3 with a track. I have a simple non sound loco who will not respond when I hit the identify buttons. The programmer tries to read CV20 and I get a timeout error. Must be something wrong with preferences but what. Something is not set up right. Please if you have worked with a Mac help me get this working. Than I can participate in more interesting discussions.

Many of the JMRI developers use Mac, as do many users. So Mac support for JMRI is very strong.

The best starting point would be to go to the Help->System Console menu item, click on "Copy to Clipboard" and paste into a message for us all to see. This will tell us quite a bit about your configuration and also possibly what may be going wrong.
